A woman's personal preference is the main element in deciding whether she will look for and engage in paid work in nations at all economic development levels. However, socioeconomic limitations and the pressure to adhere to established gender norms have a significant impact on this inclination.
- Women are great listeners and communicators
We all want a manager that we can talk to and who is open and honest with us because communication is key. Collaboration is essential to a successful team. Women, more than men, are excellent communicators. Women supervisors excel at making their teams feel like they are a part of every decision the company makes, as well as reaching out for feedback or ideas when necessary.
- Women work well under pressure
Women tend to manage disagreements with grace because they are inherently less aggressive than males. Women prefer to address issues head-on in the job in order to effectively resolve them and advance positively.

Well attractive article Meshi. It's better to discuss about both disadvantages & advantages too. Also we need to consider the ability to do the particular task & then can be allocated. My view point is gender not important always but some times.
ReplyDeleteYes, of course, We have a lot to talk about in this topic
DeleteWorkplace gender equality will be achieved when people are able to access and enjoy equal rewards, resources and opportunities regardless of gender. It will require: Workplaces to provide equal pay for work of equal or comparable value. Removal of barriers to the full and equal participation of women in the workforce.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with "women work well under pressure". But most of the leading companies in SL are much interested in hiring men work forces
ReplyDeleteI am agree with you. Most of the time woman are beter bosses than men.you have explained it well.
ReplyDeleteThank you Udara. Equality in the workplace means equal job opportunities and fairness for employees and job applicants. You must not treat people unfairly because of reasons protected by discrimination law ('protected characteristics'). For example, because of a person's sex, age or race
DeleteWhat is your recommendation to minimize the gender partiality in recruitment process ?
ReplyDeleteIt has taken time for gender equity to become more prevalent in several professions and in positions of leadership. Take some extra time to expand your original list the next time you construct a casual shortlist, especially for a leadership position or a job in a male-dominated field. According to the authors' study, adding a few extra applicants might boost the gender diversity of your shortlist and lower the likelihood that you would reject competent female applicants just because you think of male applicants first. This intervention is one method for reducing implicit and systemic prejudice in the informal hiring process.
DeleteWhat sort of strategies can you suggest to bring gender equality to an organization?
ReplyDeleteI Think Following suggestions are we can use..
DeleteWhen hiring, create a larger shortlist.

Use evaluations that are based on skills.
Men should be mentored by women.
